I guess I’m officially a blogger!  My first thought on starting a blog was overwhelming and I was worried about the time commitment. I didn’t think I had what it would take to start a blog about what God has done in my life and what he is continuing to do. But here it goes… I feel it’s my chance to reflect the Lords light and to share the good news about an amazing God we serve.

So here I am March 11, 2017 writing my story, which is HIS story.  I’m not sure where I will start; I truly have so much to share at such a young age.  I’ve been blessed to see God do small and big miracles in and around my life. I’ve seen Him make sunshine out of the storms of life.  I’ve seen him make me a new creation. I’ve seen his grace, mercy and love rain on me like I’ve never experienced before.

But,,, For those of you who do not know me I am 19 years old and am currently living in Dallas, Texas serving my King through the ministry  Family Legacy. I have traveled to Zambia, Africa several times to share the love of the Lord Jesus Christ to vulnerable children in that nation.  Every time I return to Zambia, I see God’s face in the eyes of the orphan. Serving Him through the orphans is truly where I find myself most at peace and filled with the most joy.  I trust its a calling from God to serve and minister to the orphans of Zambia. I’m proud to say that I am a “crazy orphan person.” I can’t express the love I have for these children and everything about them – they are my babies.

I hope that you will follow me on my journey.  I will chronicle my work with the orphans in Zambia but also God’s work in my everyday life.  God is doing a mighty work in me — I’m excited to see what He has in store.

As a 19 year old girl, I have witnessed darkness and light; heart aches and heart healings; brokenness and restoration. Our Lord has always been faithful.  One thing remains FOREVER, the word of God and His people. I can’t wait to share more about that Word and His children (especially the ones in Zambia).

Thank you for reading and I hope you continue to follow.  Nikukukonda! (I love you!).
